National Board Mentoring the Mentor (NBCT)
Are you a National Board teacher wondering what's next? Are you leading a cohort for your organization? Mentoring the Mentor provides NBC Teachers with the essential skills and knowledge to become effective mentors for National Board candidates. Mentors will develop expertise in planning, coaching, and National Board content, empowering mentors to take on a leadership role in guiding teachers through the certification process.
Summer Intensive
Monthly Sessions
1 hour monthly sessions will cover a mini-teach on topics including: motivating candidates, questioning as a tool, analyzing evidence, score release, and feedback loops. There will also be opportunities for networking and collaboration.
Office Hours
Problem solve with an experienced Professional Learning Facilitator and mentor. With flexible times and immediate feedback, we will keep you moving forward with your candidate.
