We are committed to providing information and resources to support families and schools which can help strengthen home-school partnerships, foster collaboration as well as aid in promoting positive outcomes for students with disabilities.
Our initiatives include:
Providing FREE trainings for families on a variety of topics, including special education
Bring together information and resources that can help families make informed decisions about their child’s education
Providing trainings for schools on a variety of topics that can help support a sustainable framework for home-school partnerships
Increase community awareness and supports

The Special Education Information Center (SPEDTex) provides resources and interactive features for increasing family awareness of disabilities and special education processes, with the goal of improving partnerships between schools and families.

Parent-Directed Special Education Services
TEA is providing one-time online accounts of $1,500 to parents/guardians of eligible students served by special education and who are enrolled in a Texas public school. Click here to learn more.
