Coursework & Curriculum Requirements

The Region 10 Certification Program coursework and curriculum offer a rigorous, robust, and interactive learning experience. Designed with digital-savvy educators in mind, the program incorporates current teaching methodologies, innovative practices, and technology integration aligned with state standards, including TEKS and ISTE standards. Through comprehensive online coursework and field-based experiences, candidates gain the skills and knowledge needed to excel in today’s diverse learning environments.
In addition to our online coursework, we offer a select number of face-to-face courses held at the Region 10 building. These in-person courses provide an opportunity for hands-on learning, direct interaction with instructors, and collaborative engagement with fellow candidates.
Candidates are periodically removed from coursework in accordance with TEA rules requiring the removal of inactive candidates. To maintain active status and ensure continued progress, it is essential to adhere to course timelines, complete assignments promptly, and regularly review feedback.
