Course Overview

Purpose

In this mini-course, we will explain the Local Education Agency (LEA) responsibilities for providing equitable Title I, Part A services to eligible Private, Non-Profit (PNP) school students, their teachers, and their families; and recommended processes for LEAs to meet these responsibilities.

Objectives

During this course, we will: 

• discuss basic Title I, Part A rules and regulations related to equitable service;
• model the cycle of services; and
• present examples of program documentation.

Outcomes

After completing this training, you will be able to:

• apply basic Title I, Part A rules and regulations related to equitable services;
• utilize the cycle of services to plan, design, implement and evaluate an
  effective Title I, Part A PNP program; and
• document equitable services.
