Note: The tests below must be passed before a probationary certificate can be issued for acceptance of a teaching position.
- The #190 Bilingual Target Language Proficiency Test (BTLPT) is required after program acceptance and must be taken during the first testing opportunity.

Additional requirements are:
- Current licensure, certification, or registration by a nationally recognized accrediting agency as a health professions practitioner based on a program requiring at least two years of formal education.
- At least two years, full- time, wage-earning experience utilizing the licensure requirement.
- Submission of the Texas Education Agency Statement of Qualifications for Secondary Career and Technical Certification to Region 10 CERTification. Original must be submitted.
