We offer training and support for the following Skyward modules:
-
The Fee Management system allows for the tracking of various charges including general, course and activity fees. Payments including cash and other non-monetary forms of payment such as discounts and waivers are then applied to these charges. The linking between charges and payments can be reported on using several available reports. This class will begin with an overview of the options available in the setup area to address each district’s unique processing methods. We will then turn our focus to the setup of bill codes and other codes needed in order to begin working with the module. The creation of customers and payors will be reviewed along with how to apply charges and payments to these accounts. Mass processing of fees will also be explored. We will review various reports, utilities, setup for next year processing and discuss the general ledger update process as needed.
Length: 1 Full day (8 hours)
Participants: This training is intended for any staff that will need to participate in the creation of fees and/or the entry of payments. Any users that will need to create reports from the module should also attend. It is common to have a person from the finance department in attendance for the first part of the training which discusses setup; this is especially helpful if the General Ledger update process will be used.
