SY 2024-2025: New Spotlight Series
MRPC will hold four (4) new Spotlight Series trainings this year beginning in late September through early November. Spotlight Series will put the focus on understanding each of the players along the supply chain and how to be a better customer. MRPC will play host to several entities to educate and enlighten, putting the spotlight on their needs to help everyone along the supply chain be a better customer to each other. Dates and times to be announced soon.
- Manufacturers: What is their timeline, what do they need from customers to be successful, how can you be the best customer so your needs are met.
- Distributors: What do they need from their customers to successfully fulfill the needs of their customers, how can you be a better customer to ensure your desired products are available.
- Brokers: What is their role supporting their clients, the manufacturers, and their customers the districts, how can they help you get what you want.
- Districts: What are your obstacles and challenges getting products awarded and made available, procurement challenges, etc.
September Training: "Forecasting USDA Foods for Further Processing: How to Reach Excellence!"
MRPC will host a collaborative webinar between coop, district and K12 Industry partner to talk about forecasting and navigating USDA foods for success. Topics will cover why the need for forecasting and who needs to know your planned purchases, how to avoid obstacles that prevent you from getting what you want, how to set yourself up for a successful ordering and receiving school year, and more. Date and time to be announced soon.
