Region 10 Crisis Support Team
The Region 10 Crisis Support Team is a service designed to help schools during crisis situations affecting staff and students since a planned, organized approach has been shown to be effective in reducing the emotional and social impact of a crisis.This team exists to provide assistance when LEAs need it most. We have an experienced team with a variety of expertise in order to provide on-site assistance. From communication with the media to creating reunification plans to meeting the social-emotional needs of educators and students, our team can provide the resources LEAs need to help navigate the challenges of crisis management.

Suicide and Crisis Hotline
If you or someone you know is having a mental health crisis, Anyone in the U.S. who needs any kind of mental health support or who is with someone in mental health distress can call or text the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 988. The 988 Lifeline provides no-cost, confidential, 24/7 emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress. Anyone who calls or texts 988 will be connected to trained counselors who are part of the existing National Suicide Prevention Lifeline network. The network is made up of about 200 local crisis centers, and callers will usually be connected to a counselor in the center closest to them.
You can also Text HOME to 741741 to connect and chat with a volunteer Crisis Counselor.
A live, trained Crisis Counselor receives the text and responds, all from a secure online platform.
Region 10 School Safety & Security Program and Services
The School Safety and Security team at the Region 10 Education Service Center provides Superintendents, campus administrators, campus staff, and district law enforcement with relevant training, guidance, information and resources to improve all aspects of school safety and security.
