Community Resource Coordination Groups (CRCG)
Community Resource Coordination Groups (CRCGs) are county-based groups of local partners and community members that work with parents, caregivers, youth and adults to identify and coordinate services and supports, including behavioral health, basic needs and caregiver support. They help people whose needs can't be met by one single agency and who would benefit from interagency coordination.
These groups help address complex needs and issues individuals, families, and service providers may be experiencing and provide an opportunity to collaborate and develop an action plan that will prevent someone from slipping through the cracks of "the system."
Region 10 staff are a frequent presence on the CRCG meetings for the counties that we serve. If you know an individual or family that would benefit from the CRCG process, you can learn more at the Texas State CRCG website. Enter your city or county to find the appropriate group.
North Texas Behavioral Health Authority (NTBHA)
NTBHA seeks to develop a collaborative system of care for individuals experiencing mental illness and/or substance use disorders. Collaborative Responsibility is the belief that the public healthcare system, which serves a community, is the responsibility of that community. Collaborative Responsibility for NTBHA is based upon forming partnerships with all stakeholders in the delivery of mental health and substance use disorder services to enhance the health of the entire community.
NTBHA has information and resources to connect individuals to local providers within the counties that they serve. You can learn more about NTBHA’s services at their website here.
