Asset Management ASCENDER Asset Management lets you maintain accurate accounting of your district's capital and inventory assets. GASB 34 compliance includes depreciation book maintenance, as well as depreciation calculations, schedules, distribution codes and the ability to calculate historical depreciation.

Bank Reconciliation Reconcile multiple bank accounts with one application. Checks and cash receipts can be cleared manually with a user-friendly point-and-click method or by importing a file provided by the depository bank.

Budget Build a budget from scratch or use current-year information to generate next year’s budget. The ASCENDER Budget application tracks campus- and departmental-based budget requests, recommendations, and approvals. Approved budgets can be posted directly to the general ledger in ASCENDER Finance, reducing manual entry and assuring accurate transfer of data.

Employee Portal/Self-Service With ASCENDER Employee Access, you can allow employees to view paychecks, W-2s, and leave information. Employees can also update demographic and payroll information. Districts have the option to require electronic approval of self-service changes and to indicate when supporting documentation is required.

Finance ASCENDER Finance lets you automatically maintain financial records and control monies in accordance with the Financial Accountability System Resource Guide (FASRG). End accounting periods, close out calendar and fiscal years, and complete daily transactions with ease.

Human Resources With ASCENDER Human Resources, you can easily establish and maintain personnel records and payrolls using built-in interfaces with time-keeping and employee benefits software.
Track and manage positions using the Position Management subsystem’s automated calculations for filling, vacating, separating and changing positions. Position Management supports a forecasting feature for “next year” salary and benefit administration and automatic budget updates.
All federal and state reporting is provided (TRS, TWC, W-2).

Purchasing With ASCENDER Purchasing, you can automatically create, submit, and approve requisitions, purchase orders, and contracts.

Warehouse ASCENDER Warehouse allows you to facilitate the operation of multiple district warehouses with end-user requisitioning, shipping tickets, tracking and re-stocking of warehouse inventory, filling and canceling back orders, and reporting.
