Region 10 provides a wide range of services to 80 school districts and numerous private and charter schools in North Texas. Our reputation as a well- established, reputable, and successful program is the reason that administrators and personnel directors regularly encourage individuals to choose this program.

TPC was among the first Education Service Center, alternative certification entities in Texas. Since 1992, we have been building relationships with schools/districts and assisting with their staffing needs. We have certified more than 8,000 teachers, many of whom now serve as administrators in the region.

We are committed to providing you with personal service. Our support begins at the application level and continues through your program participation. Program staff members form a coordinated community of support to assist participants with needs related to program/state requirements, tests, coursework, teaching practicums, and other certification-related areas

TPC partners with schools to furnish ongoing support by working with campus mentors, and campus administrators as well as providing onsite visits by knowledgeable consultants with years of classroom experience. We have a very low dropout rate with over 90% of our candidates continuing in the TPC Program. In addition, individuals who complete the program consistently score well above the state average on state exams.

TPC is committed to using best practice principles and research-based curriculum throughout the coursework.  This means face-to-face classes are limited in size and the sessions are interactive and engaging. Our presenters, who are master teachers and/or specialists in their fields, model effective teaching strategies and provide hands-on activities.

We provide a blend of face-to-face (40%) and online coursework (60%). To accommodate the needs of working professionals and individuals with busy schedules, we offer primarily evening and Saturday courses.

Our bottom line is maintaining reasonable fees, providing quality coursework including books and resources, test preparation, superb instructors, dedicated staff, and ongoing support. TPC fees meet program operating costs, as opposed to profit margins and marketing expenses.
