The Child Nutrition Program provides technical assistance, training and resources to districts in order to promote effective management of the National School Lunch Program (NSLP), School Breakfast Program (SBP), Seamless Summer Option and At-Risk After School Meals (Child and Adult Care Food Program). This is in accordance with United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) regulations. We seek to provide contracting entitites with the information needed to operate cost effective programs that meet the state and federal regulations while meeting the needs of their customers.

Region 10 coordinates Multi-Regional Purchasing and Commodity Processing Cooperatives to assist member districts with their food purchasing and processing needs. Currently, the Coop has members from Regions 10, 11, 12 and 15.
